Background:

Sam was originally created for a special project. He was suppose to be an elite special ops clone trooper. His ‘Squad” was designed to be much stronger, faster, and more independent than any previous clones. However, troopers created from Sam’s stock were a bit too independent, and fragged their own commanding officers on more than one occasion. The project was canceled, and clones in that series were destroyed.

As a newborn Sam was being shipped from the clone facility to new facility, when the freighter that was carrying him had engine trouble. They were forced to drop out of hyperspace to make the repairs. Lucky for Sam a group of space pirates happened to be in the area. After the pirates had boarded the ship and finished off the crew Sam was found by a Pirate leader, a Mandalorian called Tagget. This group of pirates was known as Clan Tagget. Tagget found Sam and took him in as his own. Sam spend the next 15 years of his life being raised like a mandalorian, and learning the ways of the pirate. He learned out to fight, shoot, and kill. He was very good at all three.

There weren’t many children in the clan, the only kid who was close to Sam’s age was a young lioness named Kim, she was about 2 years older. They became the best of friends, and as time passed they fell in love. One thing lead to another, and then they did what any two unsupervised youngsters boiling over with hormones would do. Kim got pregnant.

A few week later, Clan Tagget was ambushed by an alliance of rival pirate gangs. It was a slaughter, Clan Tagget got wiped out. All expect for Sam and Kim who were both forced by Tagget into an escape pod, before their cruiser blew up.

Sam and Kim drifted for a few days, and eventually found their way to Veroduan VIII. While there Kim contracted the Veroduan Plague. An incurable disease, that was always fatal. Kim was quarantined in a local hospital. She held on as long as could, but in the end she died shortly after the birth of her daughter, who Sam named after her. A few days later after the doctors confirmed that plague was not passed down to baby Kim, Sam took her to an orphanage, and left. Sam wasn’t thinking straight, in fact he hadn’t been in his right head ever since Clan Tagget was destroyed. He had revenge on his mind. He dropped Kim off fully expecting to be killed within the next few days or weeks. He had decided that he was going to get revenge on the leaders of the allied pirates. He figured Kim had a better chance at having a decent life on Veroduan than with him.

For the next 4 years Sam spent everyday hunting down and eliminating the other pirates. Often Sam would kill them and then turn their bodies in the empire for the reward money. Since most of those pirates had bounties out their heads. After his revenge was satisfied Sam continued doing bounty hunter work. He often wondered what happened to Kim, but he never went back to find out. In his mind the past was dead, and he was in no mood to reopen old wounds. Besides Sam told himself that the kid had probably been adopted already, and at any rate would be better off without him.

Physical Description:

Sam is tall lion standing around 6'4", has a muscular build, He is in very good shape. His fur is golden brown, expect for his neck/belly area which is a slighty lighter shade. Sam has very short hair, which is the same color as his fur. He has sky blue eyes, and a black nose.

Character Notes:

Sam is very strong, his senses over all are heightened due to the nature of his creation. Sam is usually direct and to the point. He doesn’t like to beat around the bush. He can hold his liquor extremely well. Likewise other toxins have slight effect on Sam. He is very protective about his belongings. Can be grouchy and stubborn a lot of the time. There is an Imperial Codec and the number 661 tattooed on the inside of his left ear.
