Sovereign Azuka Kain

Sovereign Azuka Kain was the last of the sovereigns of Daktia. He is not known to have had a mate. Sovereign Kain was a Jedi Knight for several centuries and one of the few known survivors of the Jedi Purges. From his safe haven on Daktia, Sovereign Kain trained Zannah Lyles-McKie and initiated the training of Marc Xavier. Sovereign Kain was detected and killed by Sher Khal'Saad; after his death, the sovereign's homeworld was razed by the Galactic Empire.

One of the last known acts of Sovereign Kain was to pass a Jedi holocron that had been in his family for untold centuries to his student Zannah, that she might use it to educate Marc and any other Force sensitives the two encountered.

Sovereign Kain was an 8 foot tall olive-skinned reptile with a broad, flat snout and flaming red hair. He had bright yellow eyes and wore robes made from animal pelts and had a crown of sapphire feathers in his hair.
